Quality Assurance System

D&S DIES manages even the fine bore geometry of diamond dies with numerical data. Using precision measuring equipment including the Conoptica 3D measuring instrument, Size is fully inspected and Geometry (shape) is sample-inspected, guaranteeing defect-free, high-quality products with a precision of 5/10,000mm.

Quality Control

Data-verified Quality Control Principles

We manage even invisible fine specifications with measurement data. Combining full inspection and sampling inspection, we maintain specification consistency through multi-angle precision measurement.

Size full inspection

The Conoptica 3D measuring instrument fully inspects the bore size of every product to a precision of 5/10,000mm.

Geometry sampling inspection

The bore profile is sample-inspected at 5% with Conoptica, verifying specification consistency such as bearing length·reduction cone angle.

Multi-angle precision measurement

Bore, outer diameter, and geometry are measured from multiple angles with 6 types of equipment including 3D·2D microscopes, cylinder gauges, and non-contact laser outer-diameter measurement.

Data-based quality control

Accuracy is verified with numerical data, for example by measuring the tension·weight of ultra-fine wire in 0.001mg units and converting it to wire diameter.

  • Conoptica gauger

    Conoptica gauger

    A 3D measuring instrument capable of measuring at 20X, 10X, 3X, 1X (0.015mm ~ 4.00mm), measuring the bore's bearing linght, reduction cone angle, and the profile graphs of the bore geometry.

  • Micro hole meter

    Micro hole meter

    A 2D microscope independently reconfigured to enable precision measurement across various specifications.

  • Wire cutter

    Wire cutter

    Measuring spec : 0.1500mm ~ 0.02500mm

    A system that maintains constant tension on ultra-fine wire about 1/4 the thickness of an average hair, cutting 200mm for measurement.

  • Measurement Scale

    Measurement Scale

    Measures wire weight in 0.001mg units. The measured weight value is converted to wire diameter to provide a highly accurate value.

  • Cylinder guage

    Cylinder guage

    Measuring range : 6.0mm ~ 31.0mm

    Measures the inner diameter of bores exceeding the diameter measuring range of precision instruments, and is used for precise measurement of inner-surface parallelism and error.

  • Non-contact laser outer-diameter gauge

    Non-contact laser outer-diameter gauge

    A non-contact laser outer-diameter gauge; a system that measures at high speed with micron-level precision.
