Dies Structure and Names of Each Part

  • APPROACHGuides and directs the material
  • BEARINGDetermines the final SIZE; sets the time and condition under which plastic deformation occurs

  • ENTRANCE(Mouth)Keeps the incoming material centered and facilitates supply of lubricant (drawing) oil.
